Die Wappen am Ostflügel des Schlosses stammen aus dem Jahr 1666. Den baugeschichtlich jüngsten Flügel ließ Graf Casimir errichten.

Casimir zur Lippe gehörte zur Nebenlinie Lippe-Brake. Er ist der älteste Sohn von Graf Otto (* 21.12.1589, † 18.11.1657), der wiederum als nachgeborener Sohn von Graf Simon VI. die Herrschaft in den lippischen Ämtern Brake, Barntrup, Blomberg und Schieder übernahm.
Das Wappen ist geviert. Es zeigt in der oberen linken und unteren rechten Ecke eine Rose (Stammwappen zur Lippe) und in der oberen rechten und unteren linken Ecke einen 6-strahligen Stern, auf dem eine Schwalbe sitzt (Grafschaft Schwalenberg). Über dem Wappen steht der Lippesche Helm mit dem Kleinod der Familie ‚zur Lippe‘.

Das Wappen ist geviert. Es zeigt in der oberen linken und unteren rechten Ecke zwei (schwarze) Pfähle auf (silbernen) Grund (für Wittgenstein). In der oberen rechten Ecke ist eine zweitürmige Burg zu erkennen (für Homburg). In der unteren linken Ecke sind drei (schwarze) Eberköpfe auf einem (silbernen) Schrägbalken abgebildet (für Freusburg). Das Herzschild im Zentrum zeigt einen goldenen Löwen auf rotem Grund (für Sayn).
Über dem Wappen stehen drei Helme. Von links nach rechts: Helmkleinod Wittgenstein, Helmkleinod Sayn, Helmkleinod Homburg.

Casimir zur Lippe belonged to the familyline Lippe-Brake. He is the eldest son of Count Otto (* 21.12.1589, † 18.11.1657), who is the later son of Count Simon VI. He had the sovereignty of the county-offices Brake, Barntrup, Blomberg and Schieder.
The coat of arms is quartered. It shows in the upper left and lower right corner a rose (‘zur Lippe’) and in the upper right and lower left corner an 6-ray star, with a swallow on it (county Schwalenberg). Above the coat of arms is the helmet of Lippe.

In the upper right corner is a two-towered castle (for Homburg). In the lower left corner three (black) boar heads are depicted on a (silver) oblique beam (for Freusburg). The heart sign in the center shows a golden lion on a red ground (for Sayn).
Above the coat of arms are three helmets. From left to right: ‘Helmkleinod’ of Wittgenstein, ‘Helmkleinod’ of Sayn, ‘Helmkleinod’ of Homburg.
