Jim and Sarah met in the University of Idaho's Vandal Marching Band. For the final home game against New Mexico State, Jim & Sarah were given the honor of performing the roles of "bowler" and "ball" in the "tuba bowling" sketch that followed the halftime show. When Sarah prepared to roll Jim toward the "pins," he dropped to one knee and the rest of the section held up a giant sign painted with the words, "SARAH, WILL YOU MARRY ME?" She said yes and they became the TubaTwo.

A photo of the proposal was featured on the cover of the next day's Moscow-Pullman Daily News, plus the Vandals beat New Mexico State in the game. To visit this Waymark, you must stand on the 50 yard line: just visiting the Kibbie Dome's exterior or attending a game does not count.
