Roman chapel typical of Provence, the chapel is characteristic of the sobriety and the simplicity of this type of edifice in the Middle Ages. It has been classified as a historical monument since 1904.
The sign reads:
"Until the 18th century, this chapel was regularly used as a meeting place by the Guild of Woolcombers and Weavers, whose patron saint was Saint Blaise - hence the name of the Chapel.
Like the three other chapels in Les Baux (Saint Vincent's and Saint Andrew's in the village and Saint Catherine's in the Castle itself), Saint Blaise's chapel is typical of Provençal Romanesque architecture."
