Long Description:
The sign is situated on the right hand side of the road when travelling from Butt Lane towards Church Lawton and the traffic lights at the junction with Liverpool Road (A50). It is close to the Trent and Mersey canal which passes under the road by the Red Bull public house.

Cheshire East Council was established in April 2009 as part of the structural changes to local government in England. Re-branding took place and the ‘Wheatsheaf’ logo of Cheshire East Council can be seen in the top right hand corner of the sign.
