DE: Die Adventskirche in Sinzig, einer Stadt im Landkreis Ahrweiler im nördlichen Rheinland-Pfalz, wurde 1952 errichtet und ist ein typisches Bauspiel für die Architektur der 1950er Jahre. Die evangelische Kirche befindet sich in der Alfred-Ott-Straße 19, Ecke Beethovenstraße.

Die Glocken
Erst 1954 konnten die drei Glocken der Adventskirche eingeweiht werden. Bis sie aufgehängt werden konnten, mussten jedoch erst die Schalllöcher im Turm vergrößert und das Turmgestühl umgebaut werden.
Die drei Glocken sind auf „E“ gestimmt. Die größte Glocke wiegt 280 Kilogramm, hat einen Durchmesser von 79 cm und ist mit der Inschrift versehen: „Oh Land, Land, Land, höre des Herrn Wort!“ Die zweite, 200 kg schwere Glocke, trägt die Inschrift „Ich will den Namen Gottes preisen“ und die dritte die erste Liedzeile des berühmten Liedes von Martin Luther „Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott“.

EN: The Adventskirche in Sinzig, a town in the district of Ahrweiler in the northern Rhineland-Palatinate, was built in 1952 and is a typical building game for the architecture of the 1950s. The evangelical church is located at Alfred-Ott-Straße 19, Beethovenstraße.
The bells
It was not until 1954 that the three bells of the Adventskirche were inaugurated. Until they could be hung up, however, the soundholes in the tower had to be enlarged and the tower chairs changed.
The three bells are tuned to "E". The largest bell weighs 280 kilograms, has a diameter of 79 cm and is marked with the inscription: "Oh country, country, country, hear the word of the Lord!" The second, 200 kg bell, bears the inscription "I want the name God praise "and the third the first song line of the famous song of Martin Luther" A firm castle is our God ".
