This ranger station and nature center is located inside the White Mountain branch library building. The entire complex is LEED certified and blends in with the surrounding park. The nature center offers snacks and drinks, some hiking supplies and souvenirs. There are also a few of the local reptiles on display, offering a better introductory environment than on the trail.
Off Road Directions: The station is on a paved road and is easily accessed by car. A permit is not required to enter the station but their is a $6 per car fee to enter the park.
