We found this guy on the wrong side of the Turtle Pond, about to wander into University Drive near the UT Tower

We think this guy rolled off the lip of the UT Turtle Pond and got turned around on the sidewalk. So we put him back on the lip of the pond area from whence he came, and went on our way.
He looked like a Texas Tortoise to us, so we put him on the lip of the pond, not in it.

Describe what happened. Example
"Mother Blanding had made her nest between the goldenrod and bluestem outside my window late last June.
By chance we were sitting on the porch when we noticed little blandings in the same location we had seen the mother take 2 months earlier."
