The spring supplies an amount of 9 litres of water per minute.
The water has a red colouring which results from its iron portion. Because of its high mineral and iron salary which provides for a sour taste, the water of the spring is called "Säuerling". It also contains high shares of calcium and magnesium.
The spring is publicly accessible and one is invited to drink from the mineral water.
