The cross reminds of Catharina Meisgen who was murdered by her husband on 9/7/1749.
The cross was stolen after the 2. world war and was later discovered by priest Heinz Höngesberg in Cologne-Dünnwald again. In March of 1990 the cross was put up after restoration in the Meindorfer avenue again.
