[FR] Eglise de la fin du 11e ou du début du 12e siècle, de style roman auvergnat. L'édifice se compose d'une nef se terminant par un choeur avec cul-de-four. Deux bas-côtés se rejoignent en déambulatoire autour de l'abside. Sur le choeur ouvrent trois chapelles rayonnantes demi circulaires. Au 13e siècle, ajout d'un portail à l'ouest et, au 18e siècle, d'une tour carrée sur la travée occidentale.

Cette église présente des éléments caractéristiques de l'art roman auvergnat. Son chevet est dit "trichore", c'est-à-dire formé de trois chapelles rayonnantes. Un cordon de billettes (décor de forme rectangulaire) court au-dessus des baies. De nombreux modillons sous toit sculptés complètent la décoration extérieure de ce chevet. À l'intérieur, le chœur est entouré par un couloir, appelé déambulatoire, une rareté en Combrailles. Toutes les piliers du déambulatoire possèdent des chapiteaux sculptés, dont un reprenant le thème de l'avarice et un autre celui des minotaures.

[EN] Church of the end of the 11th or the beginning of the 12th century, of Romanesque style Auvergnat. The building consists of a nave ending with a choir with cul-de-four. Two aisles meet in ambulatory around the apse. On the choir open three semicircular radiating chapels. In the 13th century, a portal was added to the west and, in the 18th century, a square tower on the western span.


This church presents characteristic elements of the Romanesque art of Auvergne. Its chevet is called "trichore", that is to say formed of three radiant chapels. A string of billets (rectangular shape) runs over the berries. Many modillons under the carved roof complete the exterior decoration of this bedside. Inside, the choir is surrounded by a corridor, called ambulatory, a rarity in Combrailles. All the pillars of the ambulatory have sculpted capitals, one with the theme of avarice and another with the minotaurs.
