The bench features a man seated on the bench with a book resting on his right thigh. He is wearing a long-sleeved, button-down shirt, slacks, suspenders, and sneakers. A young girl is sitting to his left. Her left leg is crossed over her right at the knee. Her body is twisted toward the man and she appears to be talking to him. Her right hand appears to be holding his left arm, and her left hand is lifted in front of her body in a questioning way. Her hair is in a ponytail, and she's wearing an above-the-near dress and boots with sock.

There is a bronze plaque at the base of the statue with the image of a man on it. The inscription on the plaque reads:

Unfortunately, we were not able to find any information about Bedstefar on the internet. It's not clear if he's the artist or the man depicted on the bench or if the bench is dedicated to him.
