Located in Barker Common which is the oldest public park in Chautauqua county. This fountain can be located in the southern corner of the SW of the two park sections that make up Barker Common.
This fountain was erected by the Fredonia W.C.T.U. in memory of Esther McNeill crusader at the time of the famous temperance crusade in 1873, which resulted in the organization in Fredonia of the first W.C.T.U., which later grew into a national organization.
