[FR] À Courseulles, le port de plaisance jouxte les anciens parcs à huitres. Le littoral est aménagé dans un souci de respect de l'environnement (parc de l'Édit, aménagements autour du centre Juno Beach, etc.). Ce port autrefois tourné vers une économie de pêche, de quelques transports en vrac et de construction navale avec la CNR (Chantiers normands réunis), doit l'essentiel de son activité actuelle à la navigation de plaisance.
[EN] The town of Courseulles is split in two by the river Seulles. Today the port of Courseulles bustles with fishing boats and pleasure craft, coming from as far away as the Netherlands, yet in the summer of 1944, the Canadian military used it to unload upwards of 1,000 tons of material a day for the first two weeks following D-Day on 6 June 1944.
