The Paseo Vista Recreation Area sits atop a reclaimed municipal landfill. It includes a dog park, disc golf course, hiking trails an archery range and an orienteering course. The course was established in 2014 and is an Eagle Scout Project of Kyle Havey of Troop 841. The course has 13 legs and covers a total of 4444 feet. It circles around the park and intersects with the disk golf course. The surface of the landfill is covered with various grades of gravel with some light vegetation making travelling the course fairly easy.
