Astronomische Uhr am Rathaus Heilbronn

Das Rathaus befindet sich am Nordrand des Marktplatzes, der außer vom Altbau des Rathauses mit der Kilianskirche und dem Käthchenhaus von weiteren sehr alten Gebäuden gesäumt wird. Auf der südlichen Seite ist eine astronomische uhr zu sehen. Im unteren Bereich dieser sind die Symbole des Tierkreiszeichens zu sehen. Die Uhr wurde 1580 endgültig fertiggestellt.

Die Kunstuhr ist dreiteilig:

Oben: Monduhr,

Mitte: 12-Stunden-Uhr,

Unten: Tierkreisuhr.

Historic-protected town clock in the citycenter of Heilbronn, BW, Germany. On the south-front of the townhall is an astronomic clock with signs of zodiac visitable at all times over the year. The clock is divided in three parts: Moonclock, 12 hours clock, Sign of zodiac clock.
