Horšovský Týn attracts visitors for its imposing castle with a park and an unspoiled historical centre which has been claimed registered landmark reserve.
Many historical houses are preserved in the town. They are bounded mainly around the picturesque square.
Renaissance house dating from the late 16th century with preserved inner disposition. The room floor ridged cross vaults. House ended with richly decorated rococo scrolled gable covered with stucco ornamentation.

Renesancní meštanský dum z konce 16. století se zachovalou vnitrní dispozicí. V místnostech patra hrebínkové krížové klenby. Dum zakoncen bohate zdobeným volutovým štítem pokrytým rokokovou štukovou ornamentikou. Majitelem domu byl v 2. pol. 16. stol. významný humanistický básník slovenského puvodu Ján Sylván /1493 -1593/.
