"Meet our Launch Weekend Speaker:
The Reverend Gregory Johnson is the Lead Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church, Endicott, NY. Cornerstone is a multi-ethnic congregation which serves the community by feeding the hungry through its CHOW ministry, lunch distribution outreach, youth ministry and local mission projects. Pastor Johnson is the 2nd Vice President of ABC/NYS (American Baptist Churches/New York State). He is a member of the Family Violence Prevention Council of Broome County and a member of the Ethics Committee of United Health Care Systems.
He is a doctoral candidate of Northeastern Seminary, Rochester NY. His dissertation in progress: Systems Approach as a Strategy for Cultivating Health in a Merged Congregation. Rev. Johnson is a graduate of the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology Virginia Union, Richmond, VA with a Masters of Divinity. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and Technology from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA.
Before coming to New York State, Greg served as Chaplain in several hospital settings in Virginia. He also served as a youth pastor and assistant pastor in churches in Virginia.
Reverend Johnson was ordained into the Gospel ministry on June 24, 2001. He is married to Stephanie Johnson and they reside in Vestal, New York."
