The camping ground is less than a kilometre from the highway & is accessed via a gravel all weather road. The camping area varies from spaces between tall native pines to broad sandy stretches. You need to be self sufficient however there are drop toilets, picnic tables & rubbish bins. There is good fishing in the weir & a small jetty to launch your canoe or throw a line.
