Just south of the main northern railway line in the Hunter Valley of NSW, at the end of this section of Old North Road near Lochinvar, is this concrete pedestal Trig Station. Official Code: TS10711

* Be aware, if coming from the north or west, Old North Road does not cross the rail line, so access is from the eastern side, and the rail line is fenced off. *
So, come in from the Lochinvar end.
This is a typical (for NSW since the 1970s) concrete pedestal, with a white plastic post, black semi-circular vanes, and intact name plate.
The plate reads: T.S. Allandale
