This building by a park with the date 1888 under the peak of the roof is the last building of the paper mill that was located here.

In Ticonderoga, near a wide park, is this building with large white digits, "1888."
The building is located on Montcalm Street, near the Ticonderoga Town Hall.
The building is a brick building, T-shaped, with a peaked, shingle roof. Around the date are tiles with different textures - even the surface that the date is on is textured.
The building is the last surviving building of the Ticonderoga Pulp and Paper Mill. According to the Wikipedia article, this was the company office building. It now houses the Ticonderoga Heritage Museum.
