In Ticonderoga, at a rotary, is the Liberty Monument and is listed in the American Guide Series Book for New York.
The guide has the following text for this location:
The LIBERTY MONUMENT, Montcalm St. at Moses Circle, carved by Charles Keck, represents three centuries of local history. Around the stone base stand the bronze figures of a French soldier, an Indian, a Highlander of the Black Watch, and a Green Mountain Boy.
--American Guide Series: New York - A Guide to the Empire State, p. 538"
The monument is still present, in the center of a rotary where NY Route 9N and NY Route 74 come together, and another road, Lord Howe Street, meets there. The monument is as described and is in good shape.
