Ürsprünglich wurde die Holländermühle zum mahlen von unterschiedlichen Getreidearten im Jahre 1860 errichtet. Den Ertrag bezifferte man auf 2000 Tonnen pro Jahr.

Das dreigeschossige Bauwerk hatte in der oberen Etage ein Drehgestell wodurch die Mühle gegen den Wind gedreht werden konnte.

1888 brannte die Mühle ab und wurde 1893 originalgetreu wieder aufgebaut. 1908 wurde die Windkraft durch eine Dampfmaschine abgelöst. 1920 wurden die Flügel demontiert und die Mühle um ein Strockwerg erhöht. 1924 folgte die Umstellung auf elektrischen Strom.

Zum ende des 2. Weltkrieges wurde die Mühle von einer amerikanischen Granate getroffen wodurch ein französischer Kriegsgefangener getötet wurde.

Originally, the Dutch mill was built for the purpose of grinding various types of grain in 1860. The yield amounted to 2,000 tons per year.

The three-storey building had a bogie on the upper floor which allowed the mill to be turned against the wind.

In 1888, the mill burnt down and was rebuilt in 1893. In 1908 the wind force was replaced by a steam engine. In 1920 the wings were dismantled and the mill was increased by a strockwerg. 1924 followed the conversion to electric current.

At the end of the Second World War the mill was hit by an American shell, killing a French prisoner of war.
