In Moriah, along New York Route 9N, is this sign as a welcome sign for the town of Moriah.

The sign is on the east side of the road, about 3/4 mile south of the village of Port Henry. There is this sign and another sign with a listing of Champ sightings - sightings of the local lake monster.

The sign has three panels. The panels on the left and right are various businesses advertising. The central panel has a painting at the top featuring the Champlain Bridge in easy view from the town. Below are two maps of the town. Also in this panel, are the words, "Welcome to Town of Moriah
Food, Lodging and fun..."

Moriah is a small community on the west shore of Lake Champlain. It was once known as a source of iron ore.
