The single-span sandstone-faced concrete bridge was designed by the Western Office of Design and Construction of the National Park Service, and was built in 1932 with Civilian Conservation Corps labor.

It is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its integrity as an example of the National Park Service Rustic style of design.
