A 3' high bronze, naked, female figure is seated with her legs crossed on top of a 32" square by 31" high polished, black granite base. The mother bent over looking down at an infant she is cradling in her right arm. Her left hand is near the infant's neck. The sculpture was created by Ann Leaves and acquired by the Massachusetts General Hospital in 1982.
