There are agricultural scenes from 'days of yore', with families depicted coming into town in the buggy all dressed up; businesses from the past, and a timber getter with a loaded wagon and his oxen team.
There are 8 'inset' scenes on the lower part of the mural, depicting: Bonalbo Station, Dyraaba Station, Durham Ox Inn, Aunty Betty's Corner, Wooroowoolgen Station, Tomki Stables, Timber Cutters, and Irvington Wharf.
Buildings of the late 1800s in Casino are also depicted.
