The top center of the tower's cap is U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark DN1254. It is in the center of Collinsville, on the east side of US 377. It is well-maintained, still used, and currently, white with "Collinsville" in red lettering on the west side of the tank. It can be difficult to get a closeup shot of the east side, which is blank, due to the dense foliage along the area streets.
