For a decade or so up to 2001 the pub was renowned for its music nights,
attracting so many people that they spilled out onto the street. Today it is a traditional pub, strong on games – darts, quoits, pool, and hosts the
Prestigne Chess Club. The Farmers is also host to Jasmine Thai Restaurant, serving Thai meals Wednesday to Saturday evenings, as well as Sunday lunches."
