Der Knogl liegt im Höhenzug zwischen Predigtstuhl und Hirschenstein und ist mit 1056 m der höchste Berg der Gemeinde St. Englmar.
Der fast vollständig bewaldete Gipfel hat seit 2007 ein Gipfelkreuz und liegt direkt am Premiumwanderweg "Goldsteig". Er bietet eine gute Fernsicht auf die Donauebene.
Bekannt wurde der Knogl in den letzten Jahren durch einen dort lebenden Einsiedler (Knogl Toni), dessen Lebensweise in einer Fernsehsendung dargestellt wurde.

The Knogl located in the mountain ridge between Predigtstuhl and Hirschstein and is with 1056 m the highest mountain in the commune St. Englmar.
The almost completely forested summit has since 2007 a summit cross and is right on the premium hiking trail "Goldsteig". He has a good distant view of the Danube plain.
the Knogl became famous in recent years by a hermit living there (Knogl Toni), whose life was portrayed in a television broadcast.
