Very near to a corner marker, this dig monument was set to mark the boundary of Fort McCoy, WI. It contains a 30 inch aluminum rod with an aluminum cap stamped "Fort McCoy Boundary" "2013" "Anderson ENG. of MN." It is near the gate mileage green sign for the gates as well as three witness post, an electric box, and a wood post. Best and safest way to get to the site is to park on Fireworks Avenue and walk West for a mile. There is descent traffic on this road so be careful. If you park next to the site, put hazards on.
