The mural is painted on the back of the information kiosk in the fairgrounds, a place that usually sees a lot of traffic during the
Rock Creek Fall Fair, which has been an annual affair since the first fair was staged in 1946.
The fairgrounds are on the north bank of the Kettle River, making this an appropriate site for this mural. It depicts a typical summer day, somewhere along the Kettle River, with swimmers, sunbathers, boaters, tubers, cyclists and horseback riders all enjoying a day by the river.
Though the piece is signed, a little too long in the weather has made the signature more or less illegible. I have included a photo of the signature in the gallery, but cannot make it out well enough to extract a name..
