Sparta, WI is known as the Bicycle Capital of America. The pride they take in this is shown in the 32 feet high Ben Bikin statue as you enter the city. They have turned this into a must visit site and placed the information shelter in the same park. This park also has a canoe landing to the La Crosse River as well as a very nicely maintained walking bridge. Biking trails to the rest of the city as well as a connection to the Sparta/Elroy Bike Trail can also be accessed in this park.
