Gyro Park is the largest park in area, with numerous benches and tables for your enjoyment. There are paved walking paths, large shade trees, warm sunny beaches, gazebo, time capsule and other cairns and plaques and also offers a spray park and playground for the kids.
The park is home to community events such as the Music in the Park Series, the Annual Polar Bear Swim, the Smoke & Steel Car Show, the Terry Fox Run, Trail Silver City Days and other special day celebrations. The park is an ideal location for weddings, family gatherings and reunions
