On the southeast corner of the Central Fire Station property, two vehicles are on display, which are labeled "Local 2298" and apparently belong to the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local 2298 Ada.
One vehicle is a truck with a hose and wood ladder - perhaps a 1940's model. It has been repainted and refurbished and shows "Ada Firefighters" and "Local 2298" on it.
The other vehicle is a horse-drawn fire wagon. It, too, has been restored and painted. It has a canvas Conestoga covering, and is marked "Donated by the Ballard Family".
