This M60A3 Tank (M60 Patton) was donated by the 1st BN 632nd Armor of the Wisconsin National Guard. This tank was developed from the M48 Patton series tank and was the primary tank for the US during the Cold War. The M60A3 series was developed in 1978 which included many technological advancements from the previous A2 series. The advances included smoke discharges, AN/VVG-2 laser range finder, M21 ballistic computer and a turret stabilization system. The M60A3 was phased out of US training in 2005 though its used by many other countries. Currently Egypt has the most M60A3's in its army with 1,716.
