Built between 1940 and 1942 by the WPA, this county building remains in use today.

This is a one-story building (187' x 70')constructed on white native stone, rusticated and coursed. The south section was built in 1940-41 and the north section in 1941-42. The flat roof has a slanted metal covering today.
The building has Art Deco features, with curved walls flanking the main entrance. On these walls are multi-paned opague glass windows. Other windows on the sides are casement with concrete sills. This building is part of the County fairgrounds complex. It currently houses the 4-H program and the Pontotoc County OSU Cooperative Extension program.
