William Brewster was one of the Pilgrims who arrived in Plymouth on the Mayflower in 1620. As the only member of the colony with a university education, he became the colony's religious leader. He also served as an advisor to Governor William Bradford.

The marker is located on the front of the Plymouth Post Office building.

The text on the marker reads:

But a photo of you standing next to the marker or a photograph the subject of the marker - those are examples of possible photographs to upload.
