A sign accompanying the sculpture reads:

"Finding Food

In East Africa, a male A Paranthropus boisei
tugs at a root. It would be tough eating for
us. But this early human had huge jaws
and large teeth that enabled it to crush
and grind raw foods. The earliest humans
survived by foraging and scavenging for
many types of food."

There is no charge to visit the Museum which is open daily 9 to 5.
