Indian Steps Museum gives the history of Indian tribes, as well as a large display of indian relics.
This Indian Totem Pole is located on the grounds outside of the museum. The Totem Pole was carved by an unknown person.
Totem Pole Information is as follows:
On the first level, or the bottom of the pole, is carved the mythical Indian creature Dsonoquo stealing a baby, a design commonly used on Totem Poles.
The second level section is a large buck-toothed beaver chewing a piece of wood.
A fish near water, located near steps, was etched into the third level, at the request of museum personnel, who wanted the steps image because of its relation to the name of the museum.
A turtle shown on the fourth level is supposed to represent an Indian tribe that previously lived in the area.
The raven is shown on the fifth level.
The sixth level shows an Indian figurehead.
The top level shows a thunderbird, an Indian mythical bird that stands for power, strength and battle.
