The bridge carries the Neponset River Parkway over the Neponset River, connecting the Readville village of Boston with Milton.
Paul's Bridge is a stone arch bridge with three arches. It is 88 ft (27 m) long and about 50 ft (22 m) wide, with an asphalt road deck. The current bridge, built in 1849, is the third bridge at this location. The first one was built in 1759, and the second one in 1805. This bridge went through an extensive expansion from 1932 to 1935 using the same fieldstone.
