This is a beautiful park with views of the lake at many locations throughout the park.

This park offers camping, clean restrooms and picnic and day use facilities. There are 2 miles of bike and hiking trails, 80-feet dock, freshwater fishing (license required), swimming and bird and wildlife viewing and a haven for rockhounds and the archaeologically curious. You can visit the nearby Stone Rose public dig site. A pass is required that can be purchased at the Stone Rose Fossil Center in Republic.
