This lake has pitcher plants and bladderworts. You can see these from shore. A camera with a zoom or binoculars helps. The bladderworts are near the shore in the water. The pitcher plants are on mats a little farther out.

There is a trail around the lake that has some difference in elevation. There are more than one mat to be seen. The place the photos are taken is near the parking lot. This area is glacial. The lakes are kettle lakes. There is an esker between the two lakes.
