EN: This snail sculpture made from an old drill head is located in a passage near the tram stop. The snail is the symbol animal of the municipality, although it does not appear in any official emblem.
The sculpture was created by local artist Claude Baumann in 2004 and donated by the Basler Versicherungs-Gesellschaft.
DE: Diese Schnecke aus einem alten Bohrkopf befindet sich in einem Durchgang in der Nähe der Tramhaltestelle. Die Schnecke ist das Symboltier der Gemeinde, obwohl sie im offiziellen Wappen nicht vorkommt.
Die Skulptur wurde 2004 vom einheimischen Künstler Claude Baumann geschaffen und von der Basler Versicherungs-Gesellschaft gestiftet.
