A memorial cross in the Scampton Village churchyard for British and German air crews. Architect Sir Reginald Blomfield.
"White stone Cross of sacrifice with bronze crusader sword on a two tiered octagonal base. Sited near the entrance to the churchyard in front of the church.
The churchyard at Scampton contains around 68 war graves relating to World War 2 and post World War 2 conflicts. The burials are from the nearby airbase - RAF Scampton."
