On Troll Knoll in the Kinghorn Trails area of Mt Work Park is a wee fairy door in the base of an Arbutus (Madrona) tree. The green fairy door in a white frame with a blue gable is much like the nearby troll bridge fairy door. See WMRATD

This fairy door is in the base in an arbutus tree on the north west side of Troll Knoll. Grog, the new age bridge troll lives here and likes to share lunches with hikers. Again, give him half your goodies and he will give you one back. Note the round mirrored window above the door. This is a one way mirror. You cannot see in but trolls can look out.
Trolls live deep in the woods. This is a 2 hour loop hike through the woods on good but little used trails for 5 km, 3 miles. Allow time for snacks on Troll Knoll. Access is from the Mt Work Munn Rd parking lot then to Corry Rd and turning right after about a mile along Corry Rd trail at the old Kinghorn tree farm gate and then taking Raven Ridge Trail past a second gate and the Kinghorn Cabin to Swamp Side Way up to Troll Knoll. Jim Kinghorn, who transferred this land to The Land Conservancy (TLC) and then on to CRD parks Mt work, made and named these all trails and features like Troll Knoll. Continue on the return along Troll Knoll, over the troll bridge and right to the Giant Junction to take Spring Ridge Way back.
