Downtown Park in Sanger, TX is the center of all activity in town. The park is the town square. The park is bordered to the north by Elm St., the west by N. 5th St, the south by Bolivar St. and the east by 4th St.
There is a veterans memorial, a Bicentennial time capsule to be opened July 4, 2076, a gazebo available for reservation, several benches, landscaping, plenty of parking on all four sides, a playground and flag poles waving the Texas and American flags.
The park is host to three events during the year, the Picnic in the Park in early May, Sanger Sellebration Festival and the Scarecrow Contest and Festival in late September.
