The present lodge building was erected in 1906.
The Brothers of Hesperus Lodge meet on the first and third Thursday of each month, between September and June.
Lake Street (NY Rte 19) in downtown Bergen, was added to the National Register as a historic district in 1985.
There are 11 buildings registered, including the Masonic Lodge and American Legion home. Buildings, most 2 story, are in the Romanesque Revival style, and date from the mid 1880's til 1921.
