By commission by the gemeemte Boxmeer this tower is built in 2009. The tower stands in the woods 'De Loonse Dunes', weighs nearly 20 tons and has a whopping 25.4 meters high! Who the spiral staircase upstairs dare to take can view the entire surroundings of Overloon in clear weather, to wind turbines Kalkar in Germany (22 kilometers away) to it. The observation tower is located near recreational lake 't Schaartven and eg. Find bicycle route along junction 50 and 56, which include part of the beautiful Liberation bike trail .
