A restricted parking space outside the Steaming Tenders restaurant has a sign which is is unintentionally funny in two different ways.

The sign has a handicap symbol and the inscription:

PARKING
HP AND V
PLATES ONLY

1. The sign is attached to a hitching post. Horses are not issued such plates.

2. V plates - Massachusetts issues DV plates for disabled veterans but not V plates. According to the Urban Dictionary, a person with V plates is an expression describing a person who is a virgin.
