The Moffett Mill was built in 1812. serving as a machine shop and then a shoe-lace and braid factory.

The mill stands much like it did back in the 19th century. There appears to be some substantial deterioration, but that gives it it's charm. Considering the town of Lincoln purchased Heartside right up the road, I am sure they will not let Moffett Mill go beyond the point of no return.
